The Web Poetry Corner - Alfy Andrews - Untitled

Untitled

by

Alfy Andrews

I let my imagination soar high and wide
like the glider without control
My thoughts to strict rules do not abide
like a galloping horse is my soul
Beyond the dark skies at an obscure angle
much away and farther from the solar system
Above where children of Jesus alone assemble
I imagine a celestial ecosystem
With an producer-consumer relationship
the producer holds the ultimate Lordship
Jesus the producer is the only source
men and women who have followed His course
End up as his consumers, lifting His Name
the producer feeds and even protects
Aint no devil up there, so no predation effects
Lord my Jesus both here and up there
We sure know thy role as our source and care
we all did consume of thy grace and mercy
Fed from thine own hand we all were chubby
our source and producer we thy consumers thank thee
in this terrestrial ecosystem on the cruel tree
thou didst die and rise, to set us all free.
