The Web Poetry Corner - Alfy Andrews - Three Darts
Three Darts
by
Alfy Andrews
These often fall on me
Like hail amidst thunder storm
It feels like Iam stung by honey bees
Yea, they are sent to cause harm
while I tread, where I must not tread
I see the tempter's net wide spread
I stoop down and pick three darts
To my amazement I see them all labeled
Two for my head and the third for my heart
They are all potent even when disabled
The darts read "From beelzebub to weak men"
Ranging from 'Mirror,Music and Maiden'.
