Soft Speech

This aint no trifling and normal soul's way

Its not easy , its no child's play
to talk ,respond and not to react

to rule our tongues the unruly member
Lord teach us how to graciously smile and speak

and refrain darts which from our mouths leak
this is an art ,an ordeal and tough act

our soft speech can mend not sever
can break the bone and bind hearts together.
