The Web Poetry Corner - Alfy Andrews - Save me from the virgin
Save me from the virgin
by
Alfy Andrews
The lofty mountain may crumble
like the crusts of dry bread
All men may foolishly stumble
when they are full and rumpfed
The python may stir and be awake
Waiting all day for the prey
The foundations of man will shake
When beauty overshadows the day
like the redwood which breaks
man is fragile,sometimes so fake
In all lands the virgin takes her toll
adorned or simple she makes him fall
Thats normal,yea due to hormones
But Lord,my love for thee she eats
Now Iam bare, reduced to a bag of bones
Lord she interferes , she competes
My God,above my flesh I could not rise
How can I avoid the second look?
Lord make me wise, Lord make me wise.
