Salute to the Bible

Heaven and earth may fade and flee
flora and fauna were never meant to be
nothing lasts forever, even you and me
stars and planets in numbers great & few
all life will perish ,without a trace residue
gadgets of science and machines that work
will all one day vanish into the murk
forever & ever this surely shall stay
mark this utterance, hear our Lord say
'The Bible' by no means shall pass away.
