The Web Poetry Corner - Alfy Andrews - Pass me not

Pass me not

by

Alfy Andrews

Lord the hardest thing for me to do
Is to think about thy second coming
As the drying of the morning dew
This thought rarely is sprouting
Jesus you will come one day for me
Thine own you will recieve
Lord but I forget to wait and see
I act as though I dont believe
Lord teach me to look at the sky
And eagerly see, atleast once a day
To expect thine coming before I die
Jesus Pass me not, while on your way.
