The Web Poetry Corner - Alfy Andrews - Kiss the Son

Kiss the Son

by

Alfy Andrews

Indiscipline was my way, life and love
I neglected my saviour who looked from above
Could Jesus be angry or tender as a dove?
The Holy spirit said, death is sin's wage
How long in His love, will I take advantage?
To the bridegroom, the bride must bow
Let me return as the prodigal did, now
Pardon me Lord Jesus, for my life's thats amiss
Grant me grace, and retrieve to me spiritual bliss
Let me Lord in humbleness, thy beautiful feet kiss.
