The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - Turning Spring
Turning Spring
by
Alan C. Keimig
The day turns itself.
The Earth turns with it
And the year eventually with the seasons
All turned once and start again.
The mountains in an early eon turn to be
The seabird. Suddenly the clarity of all that
Space is evident and the arc of time turns
Through its course as you already
Made of love find the rainbow base
As its whole passes through the afternoon.
Here is all you expect being given
With no strings, only turning past
The affections of your heart and the warm
Ear of your lover's breath as it has turned
you briefly here against your will and
Almost spring the season turning starts.
