The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - The Wind At Father's Place

The Wind At Father's Place

by

Alan C. Keimig

The wind works at the dust
Turns hazy in its wake
Moves in waves across the
Fields small seas laid in
Rows grown first green then
Brown then plowed under raised
Into the sky like our father's
Ashes drift away it is the way
With wind always moving somewhere
Other than this place and here.
