The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - Teach Us

Teach Us

by

Alan C. Keimig

Teach us to live each day.
Teach us present tense.
Teach us to breath each last breath.
We're the best dream possible and then our
Next the better still we had a kiss.
Each kiss as if another one will be denied
by circumstance and it devoted to us
Beyond the wildest expectation of the heart.
Teach us peace in knowing love,
Which loves us all with certain truth without fail.
Teach us immortality as each new day gives us
One and than unexpected one more.
Teach us to be alive in love, in truth,
In consequence, to breathe consciously.
Our last new one with all our love
Breathed into and let slowly out.
Love me, teach me and I will teach you.
