The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - Sun Cast Through

Sun Cast Through

by

Alan C. Keimig

You cast the prettiest silhouette
In the scales of gray in the outline
Of the light behind the wall which
Set to the sequence of these words
Makes dreamy sentences in the
Incandescent backdrop as your figure
In its from narrows in the field of
Vision, becomes and abstraction in
Its nuance seeing shadows projected
Further from their source extracting
>From it bits of cloth which veils
The sides and curvature of field
Half plane and place and half picture
Shaded in the peripheral view
Rising from this string of words
Linked together in the headlight drape
Inside that tunnels through to this
Side of eyes which carry on with
Following you about the shadowed wall.
