The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - Say Something

Say Something

by

Alan C. Keimig

Oh long-awaited words which
Never make appearances and
Brief the open door shuts with
Such anxiety it carries forth
The infinite action of non-action
And the series of different actions
To the calculated sum of many
Multiples which generate vast accumulations
Such the measure is beyond the numbers
Known until they lead so far away they
Return without an utterance and still
The word remains somewhere stuck in
Oblivion out there waiting for discovery.
