The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - Millennium Not Much Different

Millennium Not Much Different

by

Alan C. Keimig

What can I possibly say about the millennium?
Will it be much different from today?
A sudden rush of damage or will life gradually make Its small importance known to we who take the time
To seek the fundamental elements.
The new millennium, the new age
I think not, maybe for a week
At most a year until they discover
It is they who make the change
But why modern life hurries us
Along much too fast anyway.
Lets sit and contemplate today.
