The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - Maui Sunrise

Maui Sunrise

by

Alan C. Keimig

Soft waves caress the early
Beach with lightness. The grayed
Still day a virgin near awakening
Before the rising flame lights
The silhouettes meandering beyond
The silver ocean pool. A bank
Of clouds hangs at the opening
Pale pink and heavenly buoyed
In their own sea turned later
Blue with puffed white cotton
Floating slowly off to noon.
