The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - Flight

Flight

by

Alan C. Keimig

The last lift of flight light
Feather tumbles through
Its sky home towards the
Last refuge of its silent
Place all colored gray and
Stripe of red immense
The skybird chose to go ahead
Its motion swirls downward
To the drawing shadows cut
Into the border of the trees.
