The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - Come Be With Me

Come Be With Me

by

Alan C. Keimig

Come sit like unimpeded
Love for a small spell. Let
Spill the dim apology like a
Window box in bloom. Let glow
The slight hesitation in this
Atmosphere of quiet with scent
Laced space self-assertion
Zero waiting push against the
Will to be. Ease your heart into fire
Beneath clothes the alabaster covering
Let strip the logic fed flames come
Stay plain the night gathering grow
Warm and comfortable with me.
