The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - Bodies Placed In Space

Bodies Placed In Space

by

Alan C. Keimig

The sides, belly, back, arms, legs, facets of
The face, left and right, angles unreachable
The sextant of the flesh sets directions to
The eyes heart driven circulation moves
The turns to participate in dreams hung
Half in sleep half between conscious philosophy
With fresh hope derived and self induced good
Luck to undo the twists of time, the churning
Mind awakes to find one corner turned one way
A new one just arrived, beyond its rim the
Light bends like a fine silk ribbon to ahead
As we bend ourselves into its speed.
