The Web Poetry Corner - Alan C. Keimig - At A Loss

At A Loss

by

Alan C. Keimig

Down in the silence of my day
I find myself with nothing
Much to say and less to do
With nothing too. The days
It seems have turned their
Shoulder to me now these last
Few hours. I try to explain,
The words I want to use in
Their order and I put them
Down erase and then again
In the dim light coming now
And my nodding for approval
As they stare ahead as
Though in their current
Sequence there is nothing
Of importance to achieve.
