The Web Poetry Corner - Adam Pfaff - Untitled
Untitled
by
Adam Pfaff
I had an idea, for a dream, it went so
so eloquent. I needed an image, it
would seem,
to make me such a gent.
No wonder, if I doubt, I fail to safely say,
What wonders can mankind make of us,
when no one owns today.
I had an idea, for a poem, it won't be very
long. It has no narrative drive, nor a plot,
and would make a lousy song.
It ended with a statement, so very broad and
true. It ended simply, with the words:
Oh God, how I very do love you.
