The Web Poetry Corner - Adam Pfaff - Sila Anasazi
Sila Anasazi
by
Adam Pfaff
See the whisper, gently see,
with a whisp of breath she let's me be.
None the wiser, but wisdom fleets,
she runs abounding, with swiftful feet.
Hear her barking, hear your power, she
serves protection, hour after hour.
Feel her heart beat, pounding heart,
there is something to hear life-beats,
that gives me a start.
Sila runs in astounding frolicks, through
fields of grass so green.
Nothing ever can compare it, I believe you
know my meaning.
Black, long, hair, she looks as if a bear.
Her size and slender unimagined, there
is so much of her to fear.
See the whisper, gently see, whisp of
breath she let's me be.
Playfull petting, lot's of treats, she's a
very good doggy!
