The Web Poetry Corner - Adam Pfaff - Out With A Shout

Out With A Shout

by

Adam Pfaff

He was the one, they
all raved about. Send me

a story, give me a shout.

I can't help the ryhme, I can't
force the beat, I have an itching

beneath me, right down to my feet.

People know lightly, and I barely see,
a loving light kindly, a paranioa gently.

The words don't flow, the
way they once had. I bet you will
find this one awkward, if you
don't then I'm had.

I was the one, they all raved about,
I'll send you a story, I'll send you

a shout.

I am the one, they told be committed,
I was for a time, for this I've admitted.

He was the one, they all raved about.

Stay away from his stories, give him
a shout.

The one, epilogue. parts one and parts
two. No one tells it a better story,
then someone named you.

He was the one, they all raved on
and on and on. Give me a story,
I feel like your pawn....

End?
