The Web Poetry Corner - Adam Gosha - This Morning I Wrote

This Morning I Wrote

by

Adam Gosha

try following the very
last sound left in the
forest.
Try to communicate
when no one really
gives a fuck.
Try to believe all you see
isn't really there.
Try to breathe without
being blocked by
your own blindness.
Try to dissect your life
every non-existent
second of it.
Try to pull a rabbit out
of your ass.
Try to wave mountains
with toothpicks and
springs.
Try to be a friend to the
humans available.
Try to be punished for
being what they call
good.
Try living in this world
where death is the
only path to freedom.
Try poetry.
