The Web Poetry Corner - Adam Gosha - The Wind Poem

The Wind Poem

by

Adam Gosha

I'd love to relax but the wind is
too strong, the coffee's too strong, the
morning promises a rainy day. I need
to find shelter, the blinds have
to stop shaking, the people need
to stop watching my every move!
They make me feel like a killer.
They make me feel like dying.
They make me feel like an ant attending
an elephant's birthday party. Dodging foot
falling voices, hiding from silent eyeballing. The
only thing helping me is nature's rain,
but still it provides too
much wind.
