Art Carney's body double entered the
delicatessen with his organ donor (and friend) who
was himself a football fan and comedic
actor hailing from Canada. This event was in
no way planned by the government to be
taken place publicly, as it happened to
be the only loophole
by which America could lose all
possession of the land bound by the whole
of the Louisiana Purchase. The man
responsible for preventing the event was short
on cash and could only leave his empty
shoe on the side of the road. This was
not enough to capture the attention
of a passing truck driver
who was to actually stop and not run
a red light injuring the two
men crossing the street that became friends
in a hospital and who made plans to
eat lunch together on the following tuesday.
