The Web Poetry Corner - Adam Gosha - A Double Take With Broken Wings
A Double Take With Broken Wings
by
Adam Gosha
I remember awaking one night and seeing
a reflection in the window. I saw
myself a junkie ghost. I looked like
a gaunt dying insect drowning in oxygen. I
realized what I saw wasn't me. In fact,
it was Richard Nixon looking into my
car with the face of a giraffe.
