Wannabe actor/comedian Mike comes to L.A. after his six-year girlfriend in New York leaves him. So his two buddies try to get him back into the social scene, even though he's still pining for his ex.

John Favreau, Vince Vaughn and Ron Livingston star as three wannabe actors whose lives consist of getting turned down for jobs, clubhopping, and trying to pick up on chicks.

I rented this after hearing from EVERYONE that it was awesome, maybe it was just me, but I think it's pretty overrated. The movie has a relaxed sort of feel, or what we like to call, lack of action. There are some funny scenes, but nothing spectacular.

You have your three sterotypical characters: Mike, the guy who can't get over his ex, Trent, the hip one with a major ego, and Rob, the down-on-his-luck actor who can't seem to find work anywhere.

So-so direction, average performances and not enough jokes lead up to a pretty bland movie. Well I think it had potiential, it just didn't seem to pull it off.

While it has it's fair shair of laughable moments, the film lacks orginality and action. Worth seeing once, or anytime if it's free.

My Rating = Two Stars
