First of all, it is well known that hospitals and doctors' waiting rooms...both places where sick people congregate...tend to spread contagious diseases. In an attempt to limit this effect, medical facilities are stringent about constant disinfecting of the premises. This obsession with cleanliness has lately spread to the general public, with all types of powerful germicides being added to common cleaners. In the case of the medical locations, this has led to the evolution of organisms resistant to these substances...most notoriously staphylococcus aureus...the "gold" bug...which infests most hospitals and often cause serious post-operative infections. In the home, the results have been even worse. With advertisers constantly pushing their particular brand of antiseptic, some people have so sterilized their homes that their children are failing to develop normal immunity to common diseases. As a counterexample of this effect, our youngest son Roger...who was born at home in an extremely septic environment with over twenty people...friends and neighbors...in attendance...has had a total of six illnesses...of ANY TYPE, including the common cold...in the 23 years since he was born!
Overprescription of common antibiotics has led to a world-wide increase in the number of dangerous organisms...including the bacterium that causes tuberculosis. Doctors routinely prescribe antibiotics..."just in case"...for viral diseases like the common cold and influenza on which these drugs have no effect whatsoever. By the way, this outcome alone is enough to prove the existence and operation of evolution, at least in the microscopic world.
Then there are unnecessary tests and procedures. Any time anybody visits a doctor, clinic or hospital, all sorts of tests are "ordered"... basically to cover the doctors' asses, since if you have some problem that they overlook, they are subject to possible malpractice suits. In addition, modern medicine has produced all sorts of expensive equipment...cat scanners, MRI devices, etc...which need to be "amortized"...i.e. paid for. "Pre-cancerous" growths on your skin or interior routinely get surgeons slobbering and drooling over yet another cutting event to increase the capital in their stock portfolios. How many uteri have been yanked out to "prevent" uterine cancer? No uterus, no uterine cancer. Period. Want to prevent breast cancer? Just whack off your tits! Fortunately...for the doctors' bottom lines...these procedures are mostly covered by health "insurance."
But, what does any of this have to do with doctors CAUSING cancer? Well, ask yourself, what DOES cause cancer? Since this group of ailments have been increasing rapidly over the last century...one out of three of us will experience some form of it if we live long enough...medical researchers have zeroed in on a lot of changes in our environment that have taken place over the same period of time. Pollution, cigarette smoking, contamination and radiation are just a few of the possible culprits, all of which correlate heavily with the rise in cancer. But, none of these things...or even a combination of ALL of them...can CAUSE cancer. If they did, we would ALL have cancer...NOW...instead of one third of us...EVENTUALLY.
How about stress? In recent years, almost all studies devoted to the etiology and course of illness have identified stress as a major player. Stress wears you down and prevents the most efficient operation of your immune and healing systems. After all, doctors don't "cure" anything. They simply attempt to make it possible for your body to cure itself, since that is the ONLY WAY it will happen!
Now re-examine the effects we have already mentioned with this in mind. Every time you go to a doctor and all these tests are carried out, you are subject to stress. It's sort of the opposite of the "lottery effect," where the mere possibility of winning causes people a great deal of imaginative pleasure. After all, you MIGHT win. In the case of the medical tests, you MIGHT lose! Stress? You ain't seen nuttin' yet! And that's just from the POSSIBLITY that you might have high blood pressure, heart disease or the Big "C." If you DO lose, your life will be forever changed. You will be taking ever more tests, be subjected to dangerous and intrusive medical procedures for the rest of your life!
The media also contribute to your "medical" stress. Each new "study," no matter how inconclusive, is breathlessly reported as if it were going to change the face of the modern world. Eating broccoli may prevent cancer. Mammograms may detect and prevent breast cancer. Or, maybe they cause it! Female hormones to counteract the effects of menopause? Maybe they prevent heart ailments. Maybe they cause them!
Then there are all those ads. "Are you socially inept? Drug XYZ may be just the thing for you. It may lower your anxiety level in many social situations. Side effects may include nausea, vomiting, headaches, abdominal pain, rectal bleeding and, rarely, death. XYZ is not right for everyone. Ask your doctor if XYZ is right for YOU!" Doctors don't mind this a bit. All the more $100 visits and expensive tests to flesh out this month's accounts receivable.
Meanwhile, we are bombarded with tales of thousands...or even millions...of "unnecessary" deaths. We are constantly being led toward the bogus conclusion that if we abstain from all unhealthy habits, we will NEVER die. Take for example, all those people who die each year "unnecessarily" because they smoke cigarettes. Does this mean that they would NOT die if they didn't smoke? Of course not!
Worst of all, the witch doctors have seen the benefits...to them, of course...of defining ever more mental "illnesses." Literally hundreds of new diseases are added to the lexicon every year. Meanwhile, self medication is thoroughly discouraged. This, despite the fact that aspirin...one of the cheapest and safest drugs ever discovered...has been shown to lower the risk of heart disease and cancer. Alcohol in moderation is known to be good for you. Marijuana, although illegal, has enormous positive medicinal effects, despite the condemnations by the control perverts.
Our advice? Stay away from doctors unless you feel sick and think twice about it even then. Everyone we have ever known who had cancer KNEW it before they saw a doctor. However, scores of others were thrown into unnecessary panics because they were warned they MIGHT have it. The next time you find yourself worrying whether you may have some overlooked medicinal problem...smoke a joint. If you have social problems...smoke TWO joints. You may not live quite as long, but you will surely enjoy the time you have remaining to you a lot more!
Talk to you later...
