Having just read all the blogs that were available today on this website, I am feeling very ashamed to be an American. Here in the USA we are growing very accustomed to the familiar "Death to America" views from poeple that hate us, but the people that submitted the blogs were not the so-called "radical islam" factions that we hear so much about. These were people who are thought to be our "allies." Now, I don't believe that anyone wants to be an ally of the USA, and I can totally understand the reasons. Thank God most people understand that the government of the US is not the same as the people of the US. There are a growing number of Americans who are very against our governments policies. Personally I think that Bush is insane, possibly even evil, and blind to other points of view. I only wish that he could read the words that I have just read. Not that he would change his war-mongering ways. I don't think that is even possible at this stage. I just want to say that I agree with the postings, and I am not alone in this feeling. Here in the USA we can only hope that we survive the Bush presidency, though at times I'm not even sure that we will. Thank you for opening my eyes to some intelligent thoughts about my country. If it were possible, I'd apologise for my country's actions but all I can do is to say that we are not happy about the situation that our government has put us in. Thank you for letting me comment on the blogger's words. I will be sure to come back and read more now that I've found this site. Here I was, enjoying viewing some very fine surrealistic art, and more or less accidentally found some surrealistic views. At least it seemed surrealistic, to me. Thanks.

Open letter to Yutka:
Of all the blogs I read, yours really touched me deeply. You seem to understand our situation more than the others. You were spot on about Bush. I agree with your views almost entirely. My husband and I feel just as you do. To me, Bush is a 'cowboy' although he isn't from Texas. He puts on that southern drawl when he speaks, unlike the genuine accent that we in the south truly have naturally. He is a phony. He also takes every advantage for his 'photo ops' and 'sound bites' for the press. It is embarrassing to say the least. I'd be interested in hearing from you and you can write to me at the email address at the bottom of my feedback comments.
