Computer Science professor in the Baja California Autonomous University, teaching Graph Theory and Artificial Intelligence, and researching in Natural Language Processing. His B. Sc. is in Mathematics and Physics, M. Sc. in Computer Science. He is working in the doctoral thesis, building a syntactic-conceptual parser for the Spanish language based in the Cognitive Model of Kavi Mahesh and using a subset of the WordNet lexicon. Future work includes to utilizes the Spanish EuroWordNet lexicon for the language analyzer. He is not working yet in Knowledge Based Machine Translation, mainly by the lack of a good Spanish parser and a Spanish lexicon of great size. He thinks is a titanic task. Maybe some day.
